Command Reference
Complete reference for all PDU commands
Syntax Rules
All commands must end with a semicolon (;). E.g.: b; , \l; , unload tab orders;
This documentation applies to Linux and source versions MongoDB 6.0.0, 7.0.0 and 8.0.0. Freeze source copies and launch PDU from a directory outside the sources. State and output use the launch directory without separate path settings. Confirm other versions and special layouts separately.
Incident-Time and Source Recovery Commands
ds recovery idx|status|log|candidates;Build a recovery index and inspect time evidence, collection relationships and unresolved dependencies.
ds recovery unload [namespace | db <database> | all];Export complete time-snapshot candidates within evidenced bounds without excluding unchanged records by RESTYPE.
ds journal idx|status;Index original WT logs independently and inspect continuous-log and checkpoint-LSN relationships.
ds journal replay [namespace];Build a read-only overlay from original metadata and a continuous commit prefix without writing to sources or target databases.
Fragment Scan Commands
ds fragments idx|status;Create a plaintext BSON and scalar-field fragment task, or view its native status.
ds fragments unload [documents|fields|structures];Export complete-document candidates, field fragments or suspected structures separately without confirming business attribution.
ds fragments resolve discard-active [selection];Abandon an unfinished output unit in a fragment task after confirming the choice.

\l;List currently identifiable databases.
use <database>;Enter the specified database.
\dt;List collections in the current database.
